Trademarks and Branding

JellyRock Branding
“JellyRock”™, the JellyRock name, logo, channel poster, splash screens, and all other branding assets and visual identity elements (collectively, the “Branding”) are the property of the JellyRock project maintainers.
The Branding is not licensed under GPL-2.0 or any other open source license. The GPL-2.0 license covers the project’s source code only. Copyright licenses for software source code do not grant rights to project names, logos, or trademarks.
You may not, without prior written permission:
- Use the JellyRock name, logo, or any Branding in any product, service, fork, distribution, website, application, marketing material, or other work.
- Create derivative works, adaptations, or modifications of the Branding.
- Use the Branding in a way that suggests affiliation, endorsement, or approval by the JellyRock project.
- Register or attempt to register any domain name, trademark, or other identifier that incorporates the JellyRock name or is confusingly similar to it.
If you fork the JellyRock source code, you must rebrand your fork with a distinct name, logo, icons, and visual identity before distributing it. This includes renaming the application, replacing all branding assets, and removing references to JellyRock from user-facing strings.
These rights are asserted under common-law trademark principles based on the project’s continuous public use of the Branding. This notice constitutes public assertion of those rights. These rights apply regardless of whether the trademark has been formally registered.
Permission Requests
